Kim was born and raised on the Big Island and is committed to community health and well-being. As a former Program Manager, she coordinated grant management, health literacy and equity campaigns for high healthcare utilizers. Kim has extensive experience bringing together networks of providers in the medical and social service sectors to foster collaboration and growth. She serves on the boards of Ku’ikahi Mediation Center, the County of Hawai’i Real Property Tax Review Board, and as Campaign Treasurer for Mayor Kimo Alameda, PhD. In 2024, she co-founded Bao + Dim, a family-run business offering authentic Cantonese dishes via popups and hands-on cooking workshops, with plans to relaunch in 2025. At Nakoa Kai, Kim focuses on customer retention and community engagement, bringing her passion for collaboration to her work with clients and the broader community.
